Yoga is a systematic practice of understanding and uniting with who we really are, which is all possibility and probability (AUM). It is the integration with yourself and the universe at the deepest level!

YOGA RELATES TO EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES

Yoga poses are just the physical level of the many levels of the physiology.

At it's deepest and most powerful level, we look at our samskaras, or impressions and beliefs of who we are and what we are capable of, which are a distortion of the truth.

When we explore these and bring them to light and awareness through the 5 levels of the body, you can be free of this way of being and closer to your natural easeful Self.

ANCIENT INTEGRATIVE PRACTICES

My yoga teaching is guided by the Darshan System of Yoga, rooted in ancient Tantric and Vedic Science. This philosophy is based on the concept that our bodies reflect the same patterns and dynamics of the universe; it is a fractal of the whole. We can draw upon the way the universe works and the elements of nature to see ourselves more fully and to heal.

Our bodies store our experiences and beliefs of ourselves. Thus, the tension, emotions, and sensations we experience hold rich insight into who we are being at the moment. An integrative yoga practice takes into consideration all of the levels of our being and provides holistic transformation.

INTEGRATIVE YOGA IS TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS AND CAN INCLUDE:

  • self-knowing (jnana yoga)
  • understanding why you do what you do (karma yoga)
  • bringing awareness to how your beliefs and express in your body and daily life
  • sharpening your attention
  • practicing nonresistance and feeling
  • yoga poses (asana)
  • meditations
  • circulation of energy or chakra work
  • marma point therapy (acupressure)
  • strengthening your ability to envision
  • seeing possibility & how the nature of the universe expresses through you

Yoga can provide a powerful practice for learning to direct attention, such that we can step into our present wholeness and full expression of who we are. It is a practice of love, compassion, non-judgment, awareness, and integration. GROUP & INDIVIDUAL YOGA SESSIONS

…a chance to witness who you are being…

I believe in yoga as an opportunity to witness the patterns of our mind and body and to open possibility. Our external world is an expression of our internal world.

My community group yoga classes are filled with attention and loving hands-on assists. Students often leave feeling relaxed, integrated, and whole. I teach yoga poses with simple techniques of internal alignment that are accessible to anyone and provide external grace and ease in any pose and in life.
I provide private individual, couples, or group sessions. These are specialized and uniquely designed according to your specific needs.

RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASS

Candice teaches a weekly Restorative Yoga class at Bloom Yoga Studio, Saturdays 2-3:15 pm.

This class is a beautiful culmination of ayurvedic balancing of emotions, body, senses, and the mind, with supported and relaxing poses, gentle touch, meditations, and marma points (acupressure points) to soothe the nervous system and circulate energy.

WE WILL:

Practice a deep and natural conversation with the body, imagination, images, responses, needs, movements, desires, and insights. Cultivate ease, grace, and embodiment.
