Touch in a Time of Physical Distancing

In this time of physical distancing, it is easy to miss touch or feel alone. With everything that is happening with the intensity of events in the world, you may have all sorts of emotions in your body that may want support.

Whether or not you are physical distancing, these simple yet profoundly deepening tools for soothing self-touch and using a wall as your ally can bring a shift to your experience of life.

This is a two-part workshop series for:

  • Joy and pleasure
  • Ease in moving through fight, flight, and freeze
  • Deepening in embodiment, presence, and empowerment
  • Enhancing your healing process
  • Lightening your vibration/frequency
  • Completing anxiety, anger, frustration, and other emotions in the body

Experience intuitive ways to lean into self-contact and allying with your wall from a creative blend of Somatic Experiencing, Somatic Therapies and Family Constellations.

These workshops are experiential offering simple yet powerful tools.

This is not sexual touch - though you can apply these tools to sexual touch at your own leisure!

Part 1 : Somatic + Energetic Healing Touch

The power of touch is simple yet profound to the body and nervous system.

Rebalance yourself with some playful and trauma-based techniques for touch that support ease in your body.

In this recorded online workshop I’ll offer a variety of ways to provide yourself soothing touch and to attune to receiving touch so you feel more embodied, present, and joyful. You can apply these to receiving touch from an animal, lover, or others.

These tools help with integration of trauma, overwhelm, anxiety, and other emotions. We will use self-contact and touch that brings soothing, support, and capacity in the body.

We will play with:

  • Your body as the container
  • When you may need touch and offer it to yourself
  • How to make touch feel right for you
  • Suggestions on where to touch to support energetic and physical shifts in the body
  • Ways to direct your awareness to enhance pleasure, healing, and presence
  • Joint support

Part 2: Ally With Your Wall

Stop hitting yourself against the wall and allow the wall to Ally with you!

So much can be done with a wall to support the body. Your wall can be an ally to you to heal and complete trauma, to feel support, to deepen in release and relaxation, express and honor anger or frustration, and to strengthen or recover boundaries.

We will play with:

  • How to use the wall to enhance your body’s inner support and ease
  • Ancestor or loved one’s support with the wall
  • Using the wall for anger or frustration, fight responses
    Strengthening Energetic + Physical Boundaries
  • How to follow the body’s emerging expression
  • Ways to direct your awareness to enhance pleasure, healing, and presence
