Self – Love Note ❤ Take a Break

I noticed a feeling of stress in my body when I began to write this Self – Love Note. I thought to myself, “This week, I am taking a break from Self – Love Notes.”

So I wrote it down that there would be no Note from me because I was taking a break!

Just the thought alone and allowing myself permission to do so made me feel instantly better.

So, I had some energy to invite you all to take a break with me.

Notice Where You Need a Break

Where in your life do you need a break?

Feel into yourself, and notice where you’re aching for rest, restoration, or retreat. Feel into your heart and notice what comes up.

If you like more of a mental process, take a loving inventory of all the parts of your life and how you’ve been spending your energy. What percentage of time are you spending in these areas?

  • Work
  • Play or Hobbies
  • Exercise
  • Relationships
  • Family
  • Home Life and Chores
  • Spirituality
  • Other

Give Yourself Permission

Give yourself permission to take a break. Take a load off. Shift into something that is restful, different, or an area of life that you need more of.

Enjoy your break!

Going Deeper

Notice the experience of both taking inventory and of shifting to take a break. Do you allow yourself a break? What emotions or sensations in the body come up? What does your life conditioning tell you about taking breaks? Explore and journal about this in the aftermath.

Your Support Means So Much!

If The Embody Podcast, my writing, or guided healing meditations have inspired you, helped, or spoken to you, it would mean the world to me if you would show your support through a small donation.

Each creation is lovingly made from my soul and takes anywhere from weeks to a few days to develop and produce. I gladly pay an editor who supports me in polishing and creating high quality content.

As little as $2 help nourish my podcast and other creations to continue to have life and cover costs.

You can also take a look at my offerings which can deepen your embodiment on your own journey. Proceeds from those offerings also help me in the creation of more resources and material.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am so appreciative.
