Self – forgiveness opens kindness and love to yourself and others.
It clears the past and catches you up to speed with the present with all the wisdom of the past.
It isn’t letting yourself off the hook. It’s loving yourself up to heal the pain that holds you back now.
It gives clear sight into what’s important and happening now, rather than being haunted by what was, should have been, or could have been.
It gives you more of your vibrational vitality towards your present and future, as the energy locked in the past can release and recalibrate. You are more integrated.
It requires the guts and grit of feeling through the pain or challenging emotions that are embedded in it. (Click here for last week’s emotions support to help with this)
It takes practice to give your body the safety and re-source, and sometimes with help of loved ones, healers, coaches, or therapists.
But it gives you all the freedom afterwards to feel ease and create anew.
Practice Self-Forgiveness
❤ Notice something you’ve been hard on yourself about, a fear that you have, or a belief set that seems to be limiting you. Examples are: beliefs that you are not enough, fear that you are incapable of something, beating yourself up or being critical towards yourself for what you’ve done or chosen.
❤ Imagine love surrounding you or what it would feel like to be surrounded by the energy of love.
❤ Speak this out loud to yourself: I forgive myself for judging myself for believing___ (i.e. that I am a horrible person)
or
I forgive myself for judging myself for all the times I (i.e. have been critical towards myself)*
Or simply
I forgive myself.
❤ Notice the emotions, body sensations, images, and movements that come up. Stay with it and feel through them. Notice your breathing. Sense any shifts in your body, even if small. Take a break and come back later if you feel overwhelmed.
❤ If you’d like, try this looking at yourself in the mirror.

Your Support Means So Much!
If The Embody Podcast, my writing, or guided healing meditations have inspired you, helped, or spoken to you, it would mean the world to me if you would show your support through a small donation.
Each creation is lovingly made from my soul and takes anywhere from weeks to a few days to develop and produce. I gladly pay an editor who supports me in polishing and creating high quality content.
As little as $2 help nourish my podcast and other creations to continue to have life and cover costs.
You can also take a look at my offerings which can deepen your embodiment on your own journey. Proceeds from those offerings also help me in the creation of more resources and material.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am so appreciative.
