Inner Wisdom: What Do I Need to Know Today? ❤ Self — Love Note

You have all the answers you are seeking, dear wise soul.

When listened to, related to, and trusted, your Spirit as it lives through you will fortify its ability to communicate with you.

Sometimes we don’t know what we are listening to inside, or find it challenging to listen. If you have trauma or an overwhelming inner experience, or because of many other reasons or being a beginner of the practice, it can be hard to tune in, to begin with. Many feelings can come up. I recommend grounding, practicing safety and resource, as well as pendulation (practices can be found through this podcast series as well as many others) to bring up your capacity to feel inward and to support your nervous system in being clear enough that you can hear your deep inner voice, or whatever it is you call your divine Self.

Connecting with Your Wisdom

Today, I offer a practice of tuning in, asking, and listening. Offer yourself up and surrender to your own answers and medicine. It’s very different from using your mind as we are listening and not thinking or analyzing. Of course, thoughts happen, but see what happens if you allow yourself to be open to receive rather than actively reaching. Be open and trusting the best you can, curious and open to being surprised, whether this is new to you or not.

  • Pause and release your attention on the outer world and any stresses.
  • Find a place to rest or sit where you feel safe.
  • Take a moment and touch or move your body any way you feel soothed.
  • Become aware of sensation, emotion, breath, and feeling in the body.
  • Slow down and let your hands land at your heart and chest. Close your eyes or look down.
  • Ask yourself, What do I need to know today?
  • Listen, see, and feel without judgment or filter. Take your time.
  • Notice your first hits or flashes of insight or thought. Sometimes they are quick or can be lost easily. Pay attention and breathe. See any images or color. Allow anything to be noticed.
  • Whatever showed up for you, notice it. Notice what happens as you bring attention to it and perceive what there is to perceive.
  • Feel free to repeat with other questions you have for yourself or close your sacred practice with yourself if you feel complete.

Thank yourself for practicing and connecting in. If nothing happened for you, notice the experience and allow it to be another pebble in the lake of your practice. Open to yourself again another time and see what happens as you continue to practice!

With lots of love,

Candice

Your Support Means So Much!

If The Embody Podcast, my writing, or guided healing meditations have inspired you, helped, or spoken to you, it would mean the world to me if you would show your support through a small donation.

Each creation is lovingly made from my soul and takes anywhere from weeks to a few days to develop and produce. I gladly pay an editor who supports me in polishing and creating high quality content.

As little as $2 help nourish my podcast and other creations to continue to have life and cover costs.

You can also take a look at my offerings which can deepen your embodiment on your own journey. Proceeds from those offerings also help me in the creation of more resources and material.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am so appreciative.
