Self – Love Note ❤ Creating Safety in Your Body

Self – Love is essential to feeling nourished, thriving, and being at ease in yourself. Your well being is at the root of all of what you'd like to create, do, and offer in the world. Imagine, if we each loved ourselves, what a difference it would make!

Each week, I share a Self – Love Note for you to experiment with and add onto your own ways of treating yourself with love. These include ways to love and care for yourself on all levels — your physical being, your energy body, your emotional and spiritual self, and your development of consciousness. Feel free to share with me your experience and your favorites.

Creating Safety in Your Body

You’re in luck if you’ve grown up in my generation or you just love Sesame Street because they encourage Safe Places and feeling Safety.

Feeling into Safety

Here are some questions for you to consider if you’re interested in some personal inquiry and self-care around your sense of safety:

  • How are you resting and feeling into effortlessness?
  • Where, or with whom do you feel most safe?
  • What is your level of feeling safety in your body?
  • When do you feel pleasure and what does it feel like in your body?

It is especially helpful (if this is new or uncomfortable for you) to feel into this with someone who is trained and at ease in their own bodies, as our bodies co-regulate with others.
