Mia Park on Hope, Ancestor Survival, and Creative Resource — EP54

I’m very happy to share this super fun conversation with Mia Park, a friend and colleague. Mia Park is powered by hope and engagement. As a Chicago based multidisciplinary artist, Mia shares her passion for discovery through acting, teaching yoga, writing, playing music, producing events, and volunteering. She is fiercely herself and takes every opportunity to live and experience. In this episode, we explore Mia’s incredible ancestral story of escaping North Korea, the challenges and joys of acting – being Nurse Beth on the show Chicago Med, the lessons of the self in teaching prenatal yoga in jails, and how women can explore their relationship to being a leader.

a{Live} now: Hope Less & Live More, The Presents of Letting Go of Hope – EP36

Hope less to live more. Presence is the true present of living with less hope, being in a place of less expectation and control, more trust, flow, and freedom in my being.

This is a deep acceptance of what is in my experience in a fuller way, where I can experience more and not exist from the place where hoping that things would be different was a helpful tool of survival.

In this podcast, I share a personal story of what made me break, lose all hope, and become more present to the true moments that exist now.
