Sanity and Wisdom Through Emotional Turbulence ❤ Self – Love Note

For many including myself, it has been an intensely emotional time – full of triggers and conflict (sometimes ones we thought we worked through already!).

Relational issues, money fears, insecurities, and dependencies – you name it.

So much of the unresolved inner gunk that we have been carrying around is continuing to come to the surface.

This is a time of clearing the clutter and inner gunk that has been dragging us down. Releasing what was in the past. Releasing who we believed we were, breaking open the limits we have had and making more room to be in alignment with our inner and brilliant spark.

Staying Sane Through Turbulence

We can get lost or feel we are drowning in the turbulence by believing the fears and emotions that surface. It’s easy (and human) to fall right into the trap that is oh so familiar.

It’s an important time to be gentle, honor and love yourself.

When you’re in a time of emotional chaos, inner release, or stress, practice these 6 essential body-centered tips that can help you stay sane and gain wisdom from the experience.

❤ Check in on yourself and ground yourself often

Notice how you are doing in your body. How you are feeling and what you are sensing – Every hour or more if you remember to! Tuning into yourself is a good way to give yourself loving attention throughout the day.

Ask yourself: What do I need now to feel steady or grounded?

Try out these grounding and centering guided practices: Getting on the Grid, Being in the Body With Love, Accessing Your Intuition and Nature for Balancing, Body Like Mountain, and Resourcing Safety.

❤ Practice Non-Attachment

To cultivate your steadiness, practice watching everything from the part of you that is neutrally aware. Disconnect from believing the beliefs and emotions you’re used to believing or that are coming to the surface. Let things pass and roll off your back (healing or resolve the ones that keep coming back).

Notice the beliefs – check in on them – Ask, is this true or is it a belief? Feel into the truth.

❤ Connect With Another Part of Yourself

Be aware that you are MORE than the part of you that has the emotion, fear, or beliefs/thoughts. You have other parts of you that may believe otherwise or have a different strength, resource or alignment. Let other parts of you come forward and define more of you.

Feel into another part of you that has inner wisdom, safety, knowing, confidence, or anything else that you need for yourself. Notice your body and how you experience yourself from this place. Deepen into the experience by staying with it. Access a part of you by sinking into a memory of a time you had this certain aspect or quality of yourself.

❤ Strengthen Your Boundaries

Notice what is your energy or emotion and what is someone else’s. Strengthen your energetic and personal boundaries.

If you’re in conflict with someone else, sense into whether it’s for you to engage in or not. Is it something you need to be involved in and put your energy in, or is it best to keep moving? Is it yours to do or work on? Saying no or disconnecting might be the most healing step.

If personal turmoil is pulling your focus when sometimes breathing and noticing whatever you’re experiencing as just thoughts, emotions, and sensation, and letting them pass, can strengthen your resolve in a more aligned part of yourself. Other times, giving more attention to this in healing work or getting support can make way for a shift.

Practice sorting clearing your energy vibration so you’re left with what’s just yours.

❤ Excavate the Wisdom

Be open to the wisdom or learning that this situation is bringing to you.

Ask your Inner Wisdom:
What is the wisdom in this?
What is important for me to learn here?

Take the wisdom and leave the parts that aren’t true or helpful.

❤ Focus On Pleasure and Integrate

Track the moments that you feel like yourself or feel pleasure – when you’re moving about your day look for these moments.

At the end of the day, notice 2–3 moments you have felt enjoyment and feel it all again in your body. Digest the day through the lens of pleasure.

Take time to expand into the feeling and experience in the body. Let this integrate and open up safety and gratitude in your body and spirit.

❤ Kindness, Kindness, Kindness, and Gratitude

Can I remind you enough? :)

This comes from my continual need to remind myself :

Be kind to yourself. Thank you for being alive.

As you move through stress, inner turmoil or turbulence, triggers, or spiritual cleanse (the release of past beliefs, ways, and action towards ascension and spiritual emergence), I hope you find these embodied tips to be a helpful reminder to walk you through with sanity, growth, and wisdom.
