The Magic of Going Inward ❤ Self — Love Note

Sometimes the hardest part of having a quiet moment to check in with myself is the actually pause and bringing my attention to myself. Do you notice this too?

Even while knowing that the most powerful aspect of finding your own wisdom, healing, or finding balance is to go inward, it can be difficult to take a moment and actually do it.

I’m reminded and inspired by the fact that there is magic that happens when you turn your attention towards yourself to discover what’s next, what’s alive, and what is happening.

The body and our intuition tell us to pay attention inward in so many ways… through aches and pains, tension, an emotion, sensation in the body, our night and daydreams, images that pop into our awareness, colors, a gut feeling, intuition, and senses.

If we only stop to listen, we can get in touch with our deepest selves.

This is a way to truly love yourself — by making this connection with your soul and body. I invite you to give yourself a moment or a few, to feel inward and open up all the channels of communication with your body.

Your Relationship With Yourself

Your relationship with yourself is like any other relationship. If you nourish it and communicate lovingly, it will be collaborative, co-creative, and harmonious. If you neglect or dismiss it, or even disrespect it, it can bully you back until you listen. This is the beautiful vessel that carries you through life and gives you the ability to experience everything. This builds intuition, creativity, inner resource, and wisdom. This is where all the answers are for you in your life!

What would support you in building this loving relationship with yourself?

Take a Simple Moment

❤ Simply take a moment. Pause. Feel inward and just notice your breath. Notice more.

❤ What’s alive in you now? Experience this and be in this moment with yourself.

❤ Notice the body sensations, aches or pains, emotions, thoughts, movement and images in your mind.

❤ Ask your heart, soul, or body: What do you need?

❤ Listen without filter or judgment.

❤ Honor what you need by doing it or by imagining it and feeling this on the inside.

Build

Build your relationship one hour or day at a time, little by little. It just takes that one moment of connection, over and over, as many times as you can remember to. Be gentle in your process and take your sweet time.
